      Jeff Apodaca, Celebration of Life understands the unique challenges kids with Cancer must overcome in order to triumph over their illness. The Jeff Apodaca, Celebration of Life Scholarship gives them a start on a new future—a good education.

      29 years ago, with the help of UNM Children’s Hospital, Jeff Apodaca won the battle against a rare and malignant form of soft muscle sarcoma. Community partners, Jeff and Jackie Apodaca sponsor the annual Celebration of Life fundraiser and award annual scholarships.

      The Jeff Apodaca, Celebration of Life celebrates the bright future of kids like Jeff who have battled for their lives, and have gone on to pursue their education and careers.

      Jeff Apodaca, Celebration of Life will offer scholarship(s) through the Jeff Apodaca, Celebration of Life Fund. A committee consisting of Jeff Apodaca, Celebration of Life Committee members, 1 UNM Hospitals Development Office Staff member and representatives of the scholarship sponsor will select the awardees.

Selection is based, in part, on the following criteria :

      The Scholarship will be awarded at the end of each year by the Jeff Apodaca Celebration of Life Committee.
